Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has said that his team would have learnt lessons from their 2-0 misfortune to Serbia, in an international friendly on Tuesday night.

Aleksandar Mitrovic scored twice at The Hive Stadium in London to sentence Rohr to his second thrashing responsible for the previous African champions.

"Rohr lauded the young men and asked them not to drop their heads in light of the fact that no football team on the planet wins every one of their games.

"The manager told the team they ought to gain from this thrashing yet not suck, but instead backpedal to their clubs and continue battling.

"He said what was most critical after such a misfortune is the means by which you respond, he said we need to skip back," media officer of the Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye, told journalists.

Rohr has won eight matches and drawn four since he was delegated 20 months ago.
