What Kelechi Iheanacho needs to do at Leicester City – Rohr

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, has said Kelechi Iheanacho needs more game time at Leicester City.

Iheanacho has persevered through a baffling spell at the King Power Stadium, as far back as he moved there from Manchester City.

The Nigerian forward has scored six goals from only eight begins, showing up in all rivalries.

Rohr has said that he was inspired with the forward's commitment off the seat against West Bromwich Albion at the end of the week, yet is sharp for Claude Puel to put more confidence in the 21-year-old.

"Kelechi is doing fine. I'm in contact with his coach – Claude Puel – he's a companion of mine.

"Give him now a chance to play somewhat more and I trust he does on the grounds that it isn't sufficient playing 20 minutes, regardless of whether he scores. He needs to play increasingly and I trust now he will have the chance to play different games and to be fit for our two friendlies," the German told Goal.

Nigeria confront Poland and Serbia before the finish of March as the previous African champions proceed with their arrangements for the World Cup.
